Invitation to Attend
Higher and post secondary Education in Australia and New Zealand is continuing to face some of the most challenging restructures in many decades. The myriad of support services that significantly contribute to student engagement and development have been required to flex, change and move with these demands. As the new higher and post secondary education landscape becomes both more apparent and fluid, the challenge to student support services in this environment is establishing and maintaining visibility, viability and value within respective institutions.
The 2015 ANZSSA conference invites participants to explore these 3 Vs, sharing experiences and initiatives that are proving successful, unpacking emerging issues from a range of stakeholder perspectives, acknowledging the sticking points and collectively moving forward with creative strategies and initiatives. The conference is open to all higher and post secondary education support services such as health and counselling, student advisers (domestic and international), disability services, career development services, housing and accommodation services, student welfare supports, spiritual and pastoral care, student finances, learning skills staff, guilds and unions.
The organising committee invites you to beautiful Hobart, Tasmania. As a world renowned place for traversing challenging landscapes, Tasmania offers you opportunity for an unsurpassable professional and personal experience. Why wouldn't you be here in December!
We look forward to welcoming you to the beautiful city of Hobart.
