On behalf of the Australasian Society of Cytogeneticists, we invite you to join us in Hobart, Tasmania for the 2014 Interim Scientific Meeting. This will be the 20th independent meeting of ASoC , which is proud to be a special interest group of the Human Genetics Society of Australasia (HGSA).

The 2014 meeting will take place over 3 days from March the 21st to 23rd. The venue of this meeting will be the Hobart Grand Chancellor, conveniently located within walking distance of the Hobart CBD, Salamanca and the picturesque harbour. Hobart is the gateway to many places of scenic and historic interest.

The theme for this meeting will be old and new and in keeping with this theme, MONA will be on our menu as we dine at this unique and fascinating museum with a viewing prior to dinner.

From microarrays  to a lookback through the last 20 years of ASoC , this promises to be a engaging meeting. We look forward to hearing from our international and local guests in our scientific program, and also the opportunity to network and share ideas through our social activities planned.

Please join us at this meeting, we look forward to welcoming you to Hobart in March 2014.
