You will depart Hobart at 8.00am from the Pennicott Wilderness Journeys Booking Centre on Hobart's waterfront, Franklin Wharf between the Elizabeth St Pier and Constitution Dock Lifting Bridge. You will enjoy a guided bus tour on the way to Kettering where the ferry will then leave for Bruny Island at 9.30am. When you arrive at Adventure Bay you will enjoy a morning tea break at the idyllic beachfront café.
At 11am you will depart for a full three hours exploring the Bruny Island coastline before returning to Adventure Bay for a delicious fresh lunch with time to relax on the beach and explore our souvenir shop before your return trip to Hobart. Our bus departs Adventure Bay at 3.15pm to arrive back to Hobart at approximately 5.30pm.
If you would prefer not to leave your car in Hobart and avoid parking costs, you have the option of driving to Kettering and meeting our bus at our Kettering pick up point.

Depart Hobart (Brooke Street Pier) and drive 21km by minibus to the summit of Mount Wellington. On the way, our Guide will provide some interpretation giving an insight into the Mountain itself. Rising to a height of 1270 metres, Mt Wellington is a spectacular and panoramic backdrop for the city of Hobart. From the top you’ll see magnificent 360 degree views - the Derwent Valley, down to the Southern Ocean and across to the Tasman Peninsula. The inlets, bays and hills of this beautiful city are spread out in a stunning panorama, detailed at the observation deck.
Your guide will then fit you with a bicycle, helmet and safety vest followed by a detailed cycle safety briefing. After a practice ride at the summit, regroup and follow your guide on a downhill descent of the mountain. Stop on several occasions to take in the varying views and snap a picture or two. The winding mountain road takes you down past the Chalet and the Springs to the foothills. Here you can choose the option to experience the thrill of an off-road section. Ride some winding, twisting ups and downs - only for the adventurous at heart. The off-road section rejoins near Cascade Brewery and Gardens where everyone can stop and regroup. Cycle past the historic Female Factory and through South Hobart and Battery Point. Enjoy cruising beneath the tree-lined streets filled with Georgian and Federation architecture completing the journey back at the vibrant Hobart Waterfront.

There are a great diversity of world-class scuba diving sites in this area, from the famous Waterfalls Bay caves, the historic wreck of the "S.S. Nord" with huge schools of fish, giant kelp forests and bizarre weedy seadragons, with sites suitable for divers of all levels ofexperience. Our staff, several of whom are marine biologists, have extensive local knowledge from thousands of hours spent diving around the Tasmanian coast.

Please note - there is NO DIVE GUIDE in the water on standard dives. A dive guide is available for an additional fee, by prior arrangement. If you have never used a thick wetsuit (7mm thick or more) before, or have not dived in the last 6 months, we recommend that you do a practice session in our training pool before going out on the boat (cost $20.00). If you have not dived in the last 12 months or more, and particularly if you have done <15 dives in total, we recommend that you do the one-day Scuba Review.

Take the Arthur Highway (A6/A9) towards Port Arthur. After passing through Dunalley and the small village of Murdunna, about 1km before you reach Eaglehawk Neck, take a left at the signs for "Tasman Sea Cliffs Coast Lookout" and "Tesselated Pavement". Go to the lookout then continue on down the road, Eaglehawk Dive Centre is on the right side about 700 after the lookout.
For the divers who have been to Bicheno and have fond memories of some of the older dives (Golden Bommies, The Castle, Bird Rock, Muirs Rock to name just a few) there are many more being discovered by visiting divers on exploratory trips. Staff will pass on their knowledge and experience to ensure acomplete diving experience with Bicheno Dive Centre.
