Airport Transfers

It is approximately a 30-40 minute drive from the Hobart International Airport to the Hobart CBD. You can either take a taxi for about AUD $30-$40 or the Ten Buck Bus for $10 per person. Delegate List

A delegate list will be supplied to all Conference attendees including exhibitors and sponsors. Please email Conference Design if you do not wish to have your details included on the delegate list.


Whilst we have endeavoured to ensure all information is accurate, all details provided are subject to change without notice


Dress throughout the conference is neat casual. Dress for each function is indicated in the function description.


The registration fees do not include insurance of any kind. It is recommended delegates make arrangements for appropriate insurance cover, including travel insurance. The Committee and Conference Design do not take responsibility for any delegate failing to take adequate insurance cover


A message board will be located near the Registration Desk.

Name Badges

Name badges will be issued when registering at the conference. For security purposes the conference name badge must be worn at all times during the conference and social functions.


Limited undercover parking is available at the venue at a cost and a number of commercial car parks are located nearby.

Photocopying at the Conference

There are no photocopying facilities at the conference venue, so please ensure your bring a sufficient number of any handouts.


Conference Design Pty Ltd will gather and record personal information necessary for your attendance at the Conference. Personal information will be gathered, stored and disseminated in accordance with the National Privacy Principles


The conference and social functions are non-smoking

Smoke Free Public Places
Hobart residents and visitors expect a clean and healthy environment. The Hobart City Council has designated some smoke-free public places and some out-door dining and drinking areas to make the city a cleaner and healthier place to live and visit, and restaurants are smoke-free.

Special Requirements

Please note any special requirements, for example dietary or mobility, when registering for the conference. All special requirements will be forwarded to the venue. For pre-arranged special dietary requirements please make yourself known to the waiting staff at all functions.


Tasmania has a maritime climate with mild days and cool nights. During conference the mean daily maximum temperature is 14.4°C. As Tasmania’s weather is varied and changeable we suggest you bring clothing that can be layered, as well as a warm, waterproof outdoor jacket. Visit the Bureau of Meteorology for more information.
